Alex Kavutskiy is a writer and director based in Los Angeles, California. His 2018 film Squirrel was awarded Best International Short Film at the Calgary Underground Film Festival as well as Winner in the Short Film category at the Chicago Critics Film Fest, and was also a nominee for Short Film Grand Prize at Sundance. Alex is a multiple recipient of Channy Awards from LA's monthly Channel 101 film festival. Additionally, he has written for multiple sitcoms including Netflix's 'Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!' starring Jamie Foxx.
