Timothy Despina Marshall is an award-winning queer writer/director. In 2013, his short film Gorilla won the Iris Prize in the UK. His next short, Followers, screened at Sundance, SXSW, and MIFF in 2015. His first feature, queer psychological horror 'In the Room Where He Waits' starring Daniel Monks and Susie Porter, is releasing 2024. Tim was selected to attend Screen Australia's inaugural 2017 Talent USA program and was also 1 of 6 to participate in the 2018 Film Independent Directing Lab in Los Angeles, with mentors including Nicole Holofcener and Barry Jenkins.
