Masanao Kawajiri (川尻 将由, born 1987) is a Japanese animator and film director. While attending Osaka University of Arts, he was influenced by director Keiichi Hara and aspired to produce animation. After working at an animation studio, he started a video production company, Nekonigashi Inc. He is most known for his animated short film A Japanese Boy Who Draws (2018).
