Darko Sinko is a Slovenian director and screenwriter born in the summer of 1979 in Slovenj Gradec. He finished studying communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, and in 2001 enrolled at AGRFT during his studies. He worked as an assistant director at the Prešeren Theater in Kranj and at the Slovenian Youth Theater in Ljubljana. In addition to the documentary Štejemo, he also shot the short film Angoraangora (2005). Today he is most known for Inventory (2021), Sošolki (2015), and Hiške (2015).
